Roads under the Ministry’s jurisdiction are classified as national, arterial, or secondary roads. Roads classified as distributed or internal roads fall under the authority of the governor of each governorate.

The installation and construction of road lighting is carried out by the Ministry, while the operation and maintenance of the lighting is the responsibility of the municipality.

Yes, the manual is available at the Ministry and can be purchased from the Procurement and Contracts Department – General Directorate of Administrative and Financial Affairs.
