The SAS Center is a specialized center in the tech field, operating under the Technology Environment Development Department. It focuses on developing tech companies and startups in their growth stage by:

• Collaborating with relevant public and private sector entities to enhance the tech startup ecosystem.
• Providing a range of services to support startups in scaling their business.

• Increase the number of tech startups in the ICT sector to 161 companies.
• Contribute to increasing the ICT sector’s share in Oman’s GDP by 3%.
• Stimulate and develop the tech startup ecosystem while improving supporting procedures and regulatory frameworks.
• Enhance opportunities for SMEs to participate in ICT sector government tenders by 20%.
• Achieve revenue growth for 30 sector companies with a CAGR of ~10%.
• Create 100 opportunities for project development and partnerships for Omani tech companies domestically and internationally.
• Facilitate the listing of an Omani tech company on the stock market.
• Enable developmental sectors (education, health, food security) and economic sectors (logistics, tourism, industry, mining, construction) to employ technology for improved efficiency and performance.
