The Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology has announced the launch of the “Aber Program”, which aims to regulate the taxi sector in Oman in line with the Land Transport Law and its executive regulations.

The program seeks to maximize benefits for taxi owners by integrating them into ministry-licensed applications, enabling them to take advantage of smart technologies such as trip tracking and monitoring by users, while ensuring the highest levels of safety and privacy.
