The 6th Cybersecurity Forum

Under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Ali Al-Shidhani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology for Communications and Information Technology, the National CERT participated in the 6th Cybersecurity Forum, organized by Insight Information Security in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, represented by the National CERT. The two-day forum, held from May 13-14, 2025, featured a selection of national and international experts, several government and private entities, 18 leading global cybersecurity companies, and 6 startups.

The forum featured live demonstrations, interactive labs, and cyberattack simulations, along with discussion sessions highlighting the latest technologies and trends in this vital field.

The forum focused on empowering startups and supporting integration with global entities. It produced several important recommendations and outcomes:

Recommendations for startups:


· Building a network of relationships with industry leaders, investors, and potential partners.

· Showcasing products and services at technology exhibitions featuring local and regional entities.

· Sharing knowledge and expertise with major companies and supporting institutions.

· Promoting and marketing innovations and technology solutions.

· Seeking financing and investment opportunities to grow and expand businesses.

Recommendations for established global companies:


· Mentoring and mentoring programs to support startups in navigating the market and achieving success.

· Establishing strategic partnerships to develop innovative products and services.

· Providing funding through direct grants or establishing investment funds.

· Facilitating access to regional and global markets.

· Transferring knowledge and training on best practices in management, marketing, and operations.

· Technical and technological support and enabling startups to access research and development laboratories.

· Involving startups in events and exhibitions to enable them to connect with new customers and potential investors.
