Hadatha Cybersecurity Hackathon Concludes with Winners’ Recognition and Innovative Projects Fierce Competition and Interactive Training Environment.


The Hadatha Cybersecurity Hackathon concluded its activities after an intense 48-hour competition filled with creativity and challenge. The event witnessed strong competition among participating teams, who worked on developing innovative technological solutions to enhance cybersecurity. The hackathon featured intensive training sessions, workshops, and the Capture the Flag (CTF) competition, which provided participants with the opportunity to test their skills in vulnerability analysis and penetration testing within an interactive training environment.

Honoring the Winners

At the conclusion of the event, participants presented their projects before a panel of judges, who evaluated the submissions and selected the winning teams. The final results were then announced, followed by the recognition of the top teams, in addition to honoring the judging panel, the steering committee, and the supporting companies for their contributions to the success of the event.


Winning Teams


The first place was claimed by CyberHorizon, a team consisting of Umamah Saleem Majid Al Maqrashiya, Jumana Saleem Al Maqrashiya, and Ruaa Saleh Al Rashdi. Their innovative project, Cyber Escape Room, is an interactive platform that combines learning and excitement through challenges simulating cyberattacks, helping participants acquire practical skills to protect themselves from cyber threats.

The second-place award went to Snipe the Fish, a team comprising Ahmed bin Nasser Al Marhoobi, Abdullatif bin Abdulkarim Al Mazroui, Mohammed bin Adel Al Harithi, and Faisal bin Fahd Al Busaidi. Their project utilizes artificial intelligence and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to detect email fraud by analyzing phishing attempts and scanning links via the VirusTotal platform to enhance email security.

Securing third place was CSCT, a team made up of Hoor bint Rashid Al Shekaili, Balqees bint Juma Al Salti, and Hadeel bint Said Al Muhaijri. Their project, CyberShield, is an interactive program designed for school students, aiming to raise cybersecurity awareness through educational games that help them identify phishing attempts, investigate digital crimes, create strong passwords, and make secure decisions.
