At the closing ceremony, Eng. Abdullah bin Ali Al Busaidi, Acting Director of Oman Logistics Center – Net Zero Expert, stated: “The accompanying activities of the forum reaffirm that sustainability is not just a slogan but a way of life that everyone can adopt through simple daily practices such as walking, cycling, and using clean modes of transport. We were keen to make these activities a direct bridge of communication with the community, promoting a culture of sustainable transport and raising environmental awareness in a practical and interactive manner. The strong participation of the public—especially families and children—demonstrated that investing in such initiatives contributes to raising a generation that is more conscious and responsible towards its environment. It also reflects Oman’s and the Gulf countries’ determination to move confidently towards a more sustainable future.”

Showcase of Modern Mobility Solutions

The day’s program featured a showcase of 10 to 12 electric and hybrid vehicles, with the participation of leading teams and brands including EV Oman, Audi, Maserati, and BYD. The demonstration created an exciting atmosphere and gave attendees the chance to experience modern mobility solutions firsthand.

Children’s Corner Attracts Families

The Children’s Corner welcomed more than 500 young participants, who enjoyed drawing, coloring, and interactive stage activities such as quizzes and live engagement. Short performances highlighted the importance of protecting the environment by adopting sustainable modes of transport. Eco-themed giveaways with environmental messages helped reinforce the concepts in a fun and inspiring way.

Diverse Public Activities

Over the course of two days, the event witnessed strong turnout and active participation from all segments of society. Key highlights included Green Walk Day and Family Cycling Day, which embodied awareness of the importance of eco-friendly mobility practices. The Sustainable Mobility Exhibition also provided visitors with the opportunity to explore the latest technologies, electric vehicles, and clean energy solutions in an interactive and inspiring atmosphere.
