Signing a cooperation agreement to establish the Fourth Industrial Revolution Center with the World Economic Forum

As part of its efforts to localize advanced technologies and benefit from global expertise in developing advanced technological innovations and projects that serve development and production sectors, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology signed today, Monday, with the support of the Ministry of Economy, a cooperation agreement with the World Economic Forum to establish the Fourth Industrial Revolution Center in the Sultanate of Oman. This new center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution is the sixth of its kind in the Middle East to be established in cooperation with the World Economic Forum, and the 22nd center globally. The center is expected to start operating in the first quarter of 2025. The Fourth Industrial Revolution Center will be a strategic point of contact between the Sultanate of Oman and the world, as it will work to enhance the exchange of successful experiences and support the utilization of global expertise in the fields of advanced technologies, which contributes to building a sustainable and innovative future for the Sultanate.
