Introduction:

Electric energy is considered one of the sustainable solutions to address environmental challenges. In this context, a project was implemented to install an electric vehicle (EV) charger in the wilayats of the Sultanate. Several options were proposed: the first in Sahel Ateen, the second in Nizwa, and the third at Sultan Qaboos University. The local community was engaged in choosing the most suitable location.

Project Objectives:

1. Promote the use of electric vehicles within the community.
2. Reduce carbon emissions and improve air quality.
3. Raise awareness of the importance of clean energy.

Community Participation Steps:

1. Public Survey: An opinion poll was conducted on the X platform to gather feedback on the proposed locations for the charger.
2. Data Analysis: The survey results were analyzed to identify the most preferred location.

Selected Location and Implementation:

Based on the opinions collected and the data analysis, the charger was successfully installed and is now ready for use. The charger is equipped with modern technologies that ensure fast and efficient charging.

Expected Outcomes:

• Increase in the number of electric vehicles in the Wilayat of Nizwa.
• Improved access to charging services.
• Enhanced environmental awareness among residents of the wilayat.
