2. Mwasalat Training Institute
- Established in 2019 to bridge skills gaps in the transport sector by offering:
- Technical training (vehicle maintenance, preventive driving, forklift, heavy vehicles).
- Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) certifications and professional competency training.
3. Government Partnership Initiatives
- Launch of training-linked-to-employment programs, including:
- Training ~210 Omanis in practical programs tied directly to hiring.
- Training 52 Omanis for tractor-trailer driving roles in logistics.
- NEP workshops and collaborations developing competency frameworks and a specialized training center for youth engagement in logistics.
4. Implementation in 2025
- 124 Omanis enrolled in work-placement training programs in maritime roles.
- 333 Omanis employed in road infrastructure project firms.
- Enforced a mandatory 20% Omanization in supervisory delivery roles.
- Ongoing coordination with the Ministry of Labour for training and licensing reforms.
